General pest inspections involve a thorough visual and technological sweep of the interior, exterior and surrounding grounds of your home. The goal is to identify active pest activity, locate structural weaknesses and flag environmental factors that attract pests.
What we check
Interior assessment
Inspections include checking every room focusing on high-risk, dark or moist zones:
- Kitchen & bathrooms: Checking behind appliances, beneath sinks, and inside pantry shelves for signs of pest activity
- Plumbing & walls: Inspecting exposed pipes, cabinets, and baseboards for leaks, dampness, and insect trails
- Attics & roof voids: Checking accessible ceiling spaces and roof cavities for rodent activity or damp conditions
Exterior & garden
Pests often enter from outside and we focus on special areas of concern:
- Perimeter & foundation: Looking for gaps in brickwork, unsealed utility entry points and cracks
- Subfloor areas: Checking crawl spaces, footings, and stumps for drainage issues and signs of pest habitation
- Yards & gardens: Assessing outdoor bins, composts, retaining walls, stored firewood and overgrown vegetation or branches in contact with the roof
